Humming happily, Cillian arrived at Johnny's address with his customary basket filled with dinner in hand, a little cover over it to keep it warm. It was sort of a ritual; he showed up generally at least once a week to feed the man a nice, home cooked meal and brought enough for him to warm and eat on for the rest of the week. He also did some straightening, the dishes and laundry while he was there.

From the moment Cillian had met the man, he'd taken sort of a...mothering interest in him. It wasn't attraction or romantic at all, they were just friends and the relationship was rather odd, as he showed up, fed the man, flitted around doing this and that and then glided out much as he had come. Sometimes, it was like they were operating on two different planes while he was there, barely touching. Sometimes they didn’t even really converse.

( The truth was though, Cillian enjoyed the visits… )

He had used the key Eric had presented him with to let himself into the house, knowing the man would be out until the evening. Dressed in a midnight blue, shimmery-sheer gown, he was sprawled on the large bed with a few silk scarves draped around his neck. )
